Fighting For A Miracle

Over two whole years has now past since that life changing late October night. The injuries that occurred that night not only affected a young man and his family, but an entire community. Throughout this fight, they have stood hand in hand with constant prayers and thoughts of brighter days ahead. Although each day remains with its struggles at times with will and emotion, Kory and the family continue to be true to their faith and remain hopeful that this battle will one day be won.
Kory has continued to work as hard as ever in therapy and remains encouraged by the slow but steady progress that he has shown. He is currently enrolled in an excellent long-term outpatient rehabilitation program in Florida. As you can see by the pictures posted here that Kory remains as determined as ever to mentally and physically beat this very devastating injury, but he is going to need all our help to do it. So please keep him and the family in your thoughts and prayers. If you are considering giving to an inspiring and charitable cause this year, won’t you please consider donating to the Kory Wiita Benevolent Fund to help defer some of the costs that Kory and the family presently are incurring. Your contributions, no matter the size are always appreciated. Kory and the entire Wiita family are and will forever be grateful for all your heart felt thoughts, prayers, and support that have continued throughout these challenging times
